Waterville Creates! has selected Elizabeth Finch, Lunder Curator of American Art at the Colby College Museum of Art, to the Waterville Creates! board of directors as of February 28th. As valued member of the board, Beth will help lead the efforts of Waterville Creates! as it works toward building a strong future for the arts in greater Waterville.

Waterville Creates! has
again been awarded grant money by the Harold Alfond Foundation (HAF) to continue its work
toward building a strong future for the arts in greater Waterville. Waterville Creates! is
scheduled to receive grant funding in the amount of $2.1 million over two years to advance the
organization’s mission and to provide significant funding to its partner institutions, including
the Maine Film Center and the Waterville Opera House.

Waterville Creates! is pleased to announce a new partnership with the acclaimed Snow Pond Center for the Arts to bring more music to downtown Waterville. In addition to Waterville Creates! providing Snow Pond Center for the Arts with space for educational programs and outreach at The Center building at 93 Main Street, the two organizations are collaborating on a number of music-focused programs for greater Waterville’s youngest musicians in 2017.
