The Ed Harris Box Office is your one-stop shop for tickets and registrations to all Waterville Creates programs, including performances at the Waterville Opera House, movies at the Maine Film Center, classes and camps in the Art of Clay Studio, and more.

TICKET INFORMATION

When ordered online, tickets can be retained at the Box Office or emailed to you. Electronic tickets will come in the form of a PDF attachment with a barcode that must be displayed and scanned upon entry. Printing these tickets is preferred and will help reduce wait times, but a smartphone display can also be used. Please have the barcode ready and available to scan upon arrival to the theatre. Order confirmations and ticket emails will come from “Waterville Creates.”

Tickets may be picked up in advance of your event during our regular Box Office hours. Will Call opens one hour prior to show time. We do not mail tickets. Please visit the Box Office before taking the elevator or stairs up to Maine Film Center or Waterville Opera House.

Access your account

Ticket scammers are on the rise! We cannot guarantee any tickets purchased from any third-party vendor. Always purchase tickets directly through our website, call, or visit the Ed Harris Box Office at 207.873.7000. Waterville Creates, the Waterville Opera House, Maine Film Center, Maine International Film Festival, and Ticonic Gallery + Studios NEVER utilize third-party ticket vendors.

Live Events

  • No refunds will be issued for live events (concerts, plays, musicals, etc.).

Film/Recorded Events

  • Refunds will be given up until the screening time.

Camps/Classes

  • Refunds will be issued, less $50, for any camp/class hosted by Waterville Creates until 14 days prior to the first day of camp/class. If a cancellation is made within the 14-day window, no refunds will be issued.
  • No refunds will be given for campers/students arriving late, leaving early, dismissed from the program, or unable to attend all or part of a session.
  • A written notice of cancellation with explanation of medical or emergency circumstances must be provided for a refund request to be considered. Additional documentation may be requested by Waterville Creates. Partial or full refunds for medical or emergency circumstances will be at the discretion of Waterville Creates.
  • Refunds will not be given when camps/classes are cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • If a program is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
  • Waterville Creates may make changes to cancellation and refund procedures when considering the health and safety of participants and staff.
  • Requests for refunds must be in writing and emailed to: [email protected].

Memberships, gift certificates, and merchandise are nonrefundable.

Due to the variety of shows, films, classes and events that we hold, the cost of a single ticket will vary. A portion of all ticket fees are designated to support the Youth Arts Access Fund. Please refer to your individual event on our website for ticket pricing.

$6 per ticket service fee is applied for all live event transactions.

$1 per ticket service fee is applied for all screened events and Gallery + Studio programs.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted. Credit card charges will appear on your statement as “Waterville Creates.”


DISCOUNTS + MEMBERSHIPS

Discounts

We are pleased to offer discounts for patrons 65+, students, and military personnel and veterans.

Student prices apply to those under age 18 or with a valid college ID. We also offer free admission to anyone 18 or under through the Youth Arts Access Fund. Read more below.

Group discounts are available for many of our events when 10 or more tickets are purchased in the same transaction. Please call the Ed Harris Box Office to reserve group tickets.

Youth Arts Access Fund

Waterville Creates believes that all youth, regardless of income, ability, or background, should have access to outstanding arts programming and arts education opportunities. In an effort to remove cost as a barrier to participation, we have created a dedicated fund to support free or pay-what-you-can admission for youth ages 18 and under to the full range of programming offered by Waterville Creates and its divisions, including art classes and camps, community theatre productions, live music, and film programming.

Member Benefits

Members enjoy a 15% discount on all tickets, a one-week presale to all live performances at the Waterville Opera House, and free access to member-exclusive programs.


LOST + FOUND

Waterville Creates will hold lost items for 30 days, after which they will be donated or discarded.  To collect a lost item, patrons can stop by the Ed Harris Box Office or call 207.873.7000 during regular Box Office hours (11am–7pm, seven days a week).

If we miss your call, please leave a detailed message with a description of the missing item, the section or location in which you believe you lost/misplaced your item, and the best phone number to reach you.  

Please note:

Clothing will be donated after 30 days (this includes: hats, mittens, gloves, scarfs, sunglasses, glasses, purses, etc.) Credit Cards + IDs will be destroyed after 30 days. All other items will be donated or discarded after 30 days.

Dangerous and/or illegal items, including anything prohibited by our Code of Conduct, will be disposed of immediately.
