Every year at Waterville Creates, the festive season rides in on the heels of Ticonic Gallery’s annual artist market. Made: Maine Makers Market (previously titled the Holiday Bazaar) features the work of 100 Maine artists and crafters for sale, offering the perfect compilation of uniquely Maine-made items for gift-givers. Made is open now and will remain up until January 26, 2026 in the Ticonic Gallery, located in the Paul J. Schupf Art Center at 93 Main Street in Waterville.

Made is the newly reimagined version of the beloved Holiday Bazaar—featuring the same beautiful handmade creations, now with a bit more charm,” said Waterville Creates’ Exhibition Coordinator Marie Sugden. “We hope visitors will be inspired by the creativity of local makers and discover their own unique handmade treasures to share with loved ones.”

Made also provides an open and accessible platform for Maine’s creative minds to showcase their diverse talents and sell their wares. Last year’s market welcomed more than 3,000 visitors.

A diverse selection of items—including prints, toys, clothes, jewelry, stickers, stained glass, lotions, dishware, and much more—is available, showcasing talents in wood, clay, textiles, painting, metalworking, and other artforms. One wall of the gallery displays pieces created by members of Ticonic’s Art of Clay Studio, just next door within the Paul J. Schupf Art Center. Every single one of these items was hand-made from start to finish—including glazing and firing—just a few steps from the gallery.

Ticonic Gallery will host a reception on November 19 from 5–7pm for Made. All are invited to drop in, enjoy free appetizers, and peruse the unique wares on offer.

Made joins a busy holiday season at Waterville Creates, including the three-week run of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at the Waterville Opera House, the annual Joy to the Ville community celebration on December 6, holiday films at the Maine Film Center, and more.

The market welcomes visitors six days a week (closed Tuesdays and federal holidays), from 11am to 7pm.
