  • 3D Printing
    Get ready for The SpongeBob Musical at the Waterville Opera House! Stop by and watch our new 3D printers in action as Stephen LaRochelle creates fun character keychains featuring SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Plankton, and more for you to take home. for more about this, click here.
  • Block Printing Holiday Cards
    Learn the basics of relief printmaking and make your own set of holiday cards. Bring a small sketch or reference image and learn how to translate it into a carved block. Each participant will get to try hand printing techniques, using rolled ink or ink pads to create their own cards. Tools, paper, envelopes, and ink are provided for this two-hour workshop. We will be working with 4bar (3.5×5″) sized cards. This workshop will involve using sharp tools. Participants will leave with their block, printed cards, and extra cards to continue printing at home.   • Sgraffito: A Surface Design Workshop
    Unlock the secrets of this timeless ceramic technique in this immersive workshop. Participants will receive an overview of the sgraffito techniques and learn about different tools, clays, and underglazes suitable for this kind of carving work. For more info and to reserve a spot, click here.
  • Artist Books: Process and Story
    Create a handcrafted artist book using mixed media. Let go of firm outcomes, embrace curiosity, experiment, and tell your story of this time and place in your life. We will stitch and weave, connect and construct, assemble and build, write and draw, all the while creating our own unique artist book. Consider bringing small personal embellishments and ephemera to incorporate into your book!

  • Leather Earrings and Leather Pouch
    In this class, instructor Cassandra Rose will show you how to work with leather to create a pair of earrings, a key chain, or a small pouch to take home that day.
