Experience greater mind-body connection through this Colby Museum Artful Meditation and Expression program. Participants will join art therapist Bodhi Simpson in a guided meditation session in the Colby Museum galleries, followed by an art making experience in our Mirken Education Center. This offering will support your personal comfort with creative expression, increase self-awareness, and offer simple tools to support emotional wellbeing.

September’s theme is Let’s Get Lifted, inspired by the artwork Untitled (Mountain Wood Gatherers) by Ernest Blumenschein. Working with the metaphor of the mountain, participants will create a mixed media piece through a creative practice designed to re-center, instill a sense of inner spaciousness, and uplift one’s perspective.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, we require pre-registration for this free program. Please register here.
