Kim Upstill: A Report from The Mood Lit Field is part of the Colby Center for the Arts and Humanities‘s Food for Thought: Lecture Series.

Kim Upstill is a writer, artist, and cook based in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BA degree from Evergreen State College and an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Along with various smaller texts, Kim has published two books, Soft Work Kitchen and Night Rind. Kim is interested in partner dance, sculptural imaginings, romance, and language in its varied forms.
