For over 150 years, Ellie the Elm has stood tall– offering shade, beauty, and a home to generations of life. Sadly, Ellie is nearing the end of her life, and it is time for us to say goodbye.

Before she is removed, please join us as we gather to honor her long and meaningful life.

Together, we will reflect on the many ways this extraordinary tree has enriched our community and the lives she has touched over the years.

To help preserve her memory, a portion of Ellie’s wood will be saved and transformed into memorial pieces and future community projects. We will share updates about these opportunities as plans are finalized.
