Join the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) and Waterville Creates for a celebration of organic agriculture and the people who care for the soil that sustains us. Through film, conversation, and hands-on learning with MOFGA and area artists, we’ll explore how farming, art, and community are deeply connected.
6pm—Before the films, experience organic agriculture up close with hands-on activities and demonstrations, including: A live grafting demo, seed and scion giveaways, seed-themed art and games, cheese tastings, and a fiber demonstrations from local spinners and knitters.
7pm—The evening ends with a series of short films highlighting Maine organic farmers, followed by a panel discussion and Q+A with local farmers at the Maine Film Center. Ticket reservations are encouraged!
Come celebrate what it means to live lightly on the Earth—and how thoughtful farming helps sustain healthy land and vibrant communities!
