Braiding Circle
Join artist Veronica Perez for a special braiding circle workshop! Braiding Circles are community workshops that invite open conversations, community connections, and interdependency. Focus on braiding a three-strand braid while conversing about identity, experience, and belonging. The work created and the stories shared will become part of an exhibition in the Ticonic Gallery in 2026! All are welcome.
In addition to the workshop, participants are invited to have their personal stories recorded and encapsulated in an ongoing sculpture series by Veronica Perez to be on display at the Ticonic gallery here at the Schupf Center in July of 2026.
Ages: Adults and children of all ages
Capacity: 20 participants
Price: $11
Price includes a $1 handling fee. A portion of all ticket fees are designated to support the Youth Arts Access Fund.
This event is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.
