Join Daniel Harkett, associate professor of art at Colby College, and exhibition co-curators Justin McCann and Shalini Le Gall for a virtual conversation about Inside Out: The Prints of Mary Cassatt. This conversation will delve into the themes of the exhibition, offering a better understanding of Mary Cassatt’s printmaking process and the role of women and children, identity, and selfhood in her works. The program will conclude with a Q&A.

Daniel Harkett, associate professor of art at Colby College, is a contributor to the exhibition catalogue, writing about Intimacy and Privacy in Cassatt’s Prints. Justin McCann is the Lunder Curator for American Art and Whistler Studies at the Colby Museum and Shalini Le Gall is Chief Curator, Susan Donnell and Harry W. Konkel Curator of European Art, and Director of Academic Engagement at the Portland Museum of Art.
