July 30 – VEGETABLE PRINT BANNERS
Create colorful printed banners using common garden vegetables—perfect for decorating with handmade art inspired by the harvest season!

We’ll be joined by the Waterville Public Library for a read aloud of My Language is Garden by E.G. Alaraj.

Each Thursday afternoon, families and community members are invited to enjoy a story read aloud followed by a hands-on art activity inspired by the book or a creative community theme. This free program welcomes all ages and experience levels. In case of rain or extreme heat, we’ll move indoors to the Paul J. Schupf Art Center.

The Summer Reading theme is Plant a Seed, Read.

Art in the Park is sponsored by Kennebec Savings BankCity of WatervilleHarold Alfond Foundation, and Allen Insurance.
