Art Break: Vale of Kashmir

Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the galleries at the Colby Museum. This week, Kris Bergquist, Mirken Curator of Education and Engagement, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Vale of Kashmir by Robert S. Duncanson, located in Arthur Vining Davis Foundations Gallery.

Art Break is a program that is based on the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
