Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences are facilitated by museum staff, interns, community collaborators, and special guests.
This week, Sarah Humphreville, the Lunder Curator of American Art, will facilitate a conversation focusing on Self-Portrait, the Striped Blouse by Gertrude Abercrombie.
