Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby Museum’s gallery spaces. This week, Glenda Winn, a member of the museum learners community, will facilitate a conversation focusing on Composition with Masked Forms by Jackson Pollock, located in the Gordon Gallery.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
