2020 Wine & Beer Tasting

Save the Date for our Wine & Beer Tasting featuring local Maine breweries and wineries on Friday, May 15, 2020! We will be at a brand new venue: Enchanted Gables in Oakland and will be from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm!

Come join KV Connect, Waterville’s young professionals group, for an exciting evening of networking and socialization while helping to support a great cause! This month, we’re at Waterville Brewing Company

Admission is a $5.00 suggested donation to benefit Waterville Creates. Waterville Creates! promotes, supports, and grows their community‘s arts and cultural assets in order to strengthen Waterville as a vibrant creative center, increase access to creative opportunities for residents and visitors, and advance community and economic development goals.

Waterville GreenDrinks is part of the international GreenDrinks network, which is an informal and volunteer-managed social networking group built around a common interest and passion for the environment, sustainability and community. We invite you to join us each month for great food, drinks and conversation with your friends, colleagues and neighbors!

The Kennebec Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. This amazing Alzheimer’s Walk is hosted in Waterville, Maine at the Riverwalk at Head of Falls and is a great event for people to come and share stories and local information, show support and encouragement for the cause, and walk in honor of those lost to Alzheimer’s! We walk to end Alzheimer’s and to create a world without Alzheimer’s!

Everyone is invited to this celebration of Lebanese culture which is being hosted by parish members of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Maronite Church. Waterville and surrounding communities all have a legacy rich with immigrant populations, this Fall Mediterranean Festival – Hafli is our way to share and to keep the rich traditions of Lebanese food, music and dance alive for future generations to come.

2019 Campaign Kick Off CANstruction

JOIN US SEPTEMBER 27th @ 12PM
FOR THE 2019 CAMPAIGN KICK OFF!

We will be doing things a little differently this year, and adding a CANstruction contest to our kick-off festivities.

We encourage workplace campaigns to put together a team and enter a CANstruction sculpture into the contest. Our goal is to collect over 5,000 pounds of food for the largest one-day Central Maine food drive!

Teams will construct sculptures FIRST (spectators are welcome). The finished sculptures will be on display at The Elm during the Kick-Off festivities. Kick-Off attendees will be able to vote for their favorite sculpture! After the event, the collected items to food pantries throughout Somerset, Northern Kennebec, and Western Waldo County.

2. Gather your most creative team and design your entry.
3. Let your employees know what food items and quantities you will need and do a “trial run.”
4. Have a blast constructing your sculpture!
