Musicians from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts will present an international musical performance.  Musicians will introduce participants to instruments from around the world. Families are invited to create individual works of art while listening to music!

Each time we play games we are transported to another world. Explore board games that bring us on journeys, offer adventure and learning, from the more contemporary game, Settlers of Catan to the more traditional, Oregon Trail.

This event is free + open to the public.

Let’s bend, stretch, and move while drawing inspiration from the works of art on view in the Youth Art Month exhibition! This is our third consecutive year for this popular event which creates yoga poses based on work in the exhibition. Join us for some creative movement in the gallery!  Recommended for ages 6-10. Instructor: Stephanie Pinette.

Free but registration is required. Limit 12.

What type of art is made in Mexico, Iran, Vietnam, and China? Explore art throughout the world and become inspired by artists from different countries. Members from the International Club at Colby College will be on hand to make and create with us!

Come explore the stars indoors with Northern Stars Planetarium. Anyone who has had the pleasure of being in the Northern Stars Planetarium knows the joy of entering the big dome and exploring the stories of stars, constellations, and the wonders of our universe.

Sadie the Reader Dog

Reader Dog Visit for Kids!

Our therapy dog friends from Kennebec Valley Love on a Leash will be in this afternoon for read-aloud time and visiting! For kids who want to practice their reading skills and for families who want a fun, calming read-aloud opportunity. Spend 15 minutes with a dog who loves to listen. Bring your own favorite book, or borrow one from our shelves.
