In celebration of Youth Art Month, Ticonic Gallery at the new Paul J. Schupf Art Center will offer an opportunity to all local school-aged children (grades K – 12) to participate in the upcoming YAM exhibition during the month of March. This year we’re thrilled to be able to expand this program by partnering with Greene Block + Studios, allowing us to showcase the visual arts programs of local schools, childcare institutions, and home school groups at two locations in downtown Waterville. This is a wonderful vehicle to celebrate art made by young people in our community and we encourage your participation. This year’s theme is Your Art, Your Story.
About Youth Art Month: the Council for Art Education (CFAE) administers Youth Art Month. Youth Art Month encourages support for quality school art programs, and promotes art material safety. The Council for Art Education (CFAE) administers the program at the national level.
