On January 29, 2024, five-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab and six members of her family attempt to flee to safety during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military shell and shoot at the fleeing vehicle, killing Hind’s family and trapping the young girl in the wreckage of the car. Placing a call to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, aid workers attempt to get Hind the help she needs while navigating the increasingly-infuriating bureaucracy holding them back. Made with the support of Hind's mother and the real-life workers who coordinated the rescue effort, and utilizing the real audio of Hind's phone calls, Oscar-nominated director Kaouther Ben Hania transports audiences to the frantic Red Crescent office as the timer to save Hind runs out.

No words can fully capture the grave impact of The Voice of Hind Rajab or the heartbreaking plea for compassion and humanity to prevail that Ben Hania crafts her film around. "Hers is a utilitarian mission: to embed the audience in the sensory experience of being in a war zone without letting them scroll past or swipe to the next video. If ever there was a film that demanded an in-theater experience, it is Ben Hania's urgent piece of work."—Gregory Nussen, Screen Rant.
