This spring, The Maine Art Museum Trail is proud to present a digital program series that explores the notion of “making a home” and what that means for institutions and the communities they exist within, bringing to light the stories that have not been told and reflect on the changing museum field.

Conversation with Zoe Sahloul and Philippa Hughes

Zoe Sahloul is the Founder and Executive Director of the New England Arab American Organization (NEAAO), Zoe Sahloul, is an immigrant and a prominent and active member of the Arab Americans community, she has recognized the growing need in our community for a variety of services.

Philippa Hughes is a Social Sculptor and Creative Strategist who produces art-fueled projects that spark humanizing and compassionate conversations between people who might not normally meet. She leads CuriosityConnects.us, a partner in Looking For America, which is a national series inviting politically diverse guests to break bread and talk to each other face-to-face using art as a starting point for relationship-building conversations that can transform society.
