Learn how museums create exhibitions and what steps they take to promote, advertise, and engage their potential visitors. Participants will take a special tour at the Colby Museum (before it opens to the public!) with some of the staff who helped create the exhibition. Learn how museums use social media as a tool for outreach, engagement, and publicity purposes. Students will work in teams to create social media posts related to the exhibition, which will be uploaded to the Museum’s Instagram account. Ages 13-18

What is SLICE?
SLICE is a free program for teens and stands for Students Learning Innovative and Creative Endeavors. For this series of teen programs, we are partnering with arts professionals throughout the state, to provide young people with unique experiences to learn more about career paths in the creative arts. Each afternoon will be packed with programming, inspiration, and pizza!
