Working-class Mi-ok and Ho-seok, who have been together since middle school, struggle to recover from Ho-seok's firing after the factory he worked at violently suppressed a labor union strike. Documentary filmmaker Ye-ji and her husband Sang-woo, who live quite comfortably, enter the lives of Mi-ok and Ho-seok when Ye-ji decides to make a film about job layoffs with the working-class couple as her subject.

As their different lives and hidden desires meet, "Possible Love, ostensibly a relationship drama tracking two marriages from opposite sides of the social divide, unfolds with surprise and inevitability held in such perfect balance that each moment feels like it’s telling you something you’ve always known, but have just never thought of before…. Quietly colossal”—Jessica Klang, Variety.

In Korean with English subtitles.
