Morning 3D Printing Drop-In
Want to create a clay stamp for your projects, build a desk organizer that fits your exact specifications, or do you have a 3D file you wish you could use but you’d like some help to get it to print just right?
Instructor Stephen LaRochelle leads this assisted drop-in time to explore 3D printing and design. All levels of experience welcome, from complete beginner to expert. Guidance provided on first come first served basis. Parent supervision required for participants under the age of 18. No registration required.
Technical information:You may bring your own laptops; we also have MacBooks with accessories available. Waterville Creates’s 10 printers are Bambu Lab A1 Minis with 0.4mm nozzles. Each printer is equipped for multi-color printing and supports 3MF and STL file types. The maximum build volume (AKA print size) is 180 x 180 x 180 mm. The maximum print time is 4 hours. To ensure equity for all participants, only single plate prints are allowed during this session and all files must be approved by the the instructor prior to printing. Remaining prints will be held for one week at the Ticonic Gallery Desk.
