18-year-old Totone spends most of his time drinking beer and partying in the Jura region with his group of friends. When tragedy befalls his father, Totone is thrust into the unexpected and very adult role of looking after his younger sister and their failing family farm. Desperate for money, Totone assumes even more responsibility when he enters a cash competition for the best Comté cheese in the region in an attempt to win the gold medal at the agricultural competition and a hefty sum of 30,000 euros.
