Gentle Morning Movement Workshops

Wednesdays, October 13 - 27, 2021

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Colby Arts Office

Greene Block + Studios, 18 Main St, Waterville

This movement class celebrates the positive impact that the arts can have on connecting with our community, enriching our lives, and bettering our health. Join in the fun as we share stories, move our bodies, and make dances about anything and everything. No dance experience is required. Although this class is primarily engaging older adults (ages 55+), all are welcome to attend and create intergenerational connection.

Matthew Cumbie (he/him/his) is a collaborative dancemaker and artist-educator in Waterville, ME, and currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in Performance Practice in Colby College’s Department of Theatre and Dance. His artistic research cultivates processes and experiences that are participatory and intergenerational. See more of Matthew’s work at http://matthewcumbie.com/about/matthew/
