Flags for Tomorrow + Art in the Park

June 16, 2022

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

ARC-Hive Collective

Head of Falls, Front Street, Waterville

What future do you envision for Waterville? For the Kennebec River? Join the ARC-Hive Collective and Waterville Creates at the Farmer’s Market at Head of Falls to create your own flag for the future you imagine. Materials and instructions provided.

Flags for Tomorrow is part of “A Glossary of These Waters,” a collaboratively created art event in Waterville, Maine (June 14-21). Throughout the week, we’ll explore the Kennebec River and watershed, focusing on how we can engage and honor the River and her memories, properties, and futures. This week of art and reflective programs, workshops, and activities is the work of the ARC-Hive Collective, a shifting group of Maine-based educators, artists, performers, and archivists.

Open to all ages. ADA accessible.
