Experience firsthand capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art form that combines dance, music, language, and acrobatics. Kenny Harris has worked with renowned capoeira mestres and will lead participants of all experience levels through the elements of the form. Developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil during the 16th century, capoeira is practiced all over the world and was granted a special protected status as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2014.
