To close out our "Bring Back Date Night" series, we're turning up the volume on BABY DRIVER, "the rare film that almost seems designed as an accompaniment to its soundtrack rather than the reverse" (The Atlantic). Ansel Elgort plays Baby, a get-away driver with tinnitus, indebted to Atlanta crime boss Doc. Stunning car chases serve as the choreography to this "mixtape on wheels" (Sight & Sound). Baby meets angelic waitress Debora (Lily James), who symbolizes Baby's potential redemption and return to civilian life. Edgar Wright (SHAUN OF THE DEAD, LAST NIGHT IN SOHO) keeps us on the edge of our seats and our feet tapping to the beat.
