Pride Crafting
Kick off Art in the Park with pride and creativity. Join special guests from the Waterville Youth Council to make colorful friendship bracelets and Pride-themed crafts that celebrate identity and inclusion.
We’ll enjoy a read-aloud of Peanut Goes for the Gold by Jonathan Van Ness, a heartwarming and empowering story about being true to yourself.
Presented by Waterville Creates in collaboration with the Waterville Public Library and the Colby College Museum of Art.
Each Thursday afternoon, families and community members are invited to enjoy a story read aloud followed by a hands-on art activity inspired by the book or a creative community theme. This free program welcomes all ages and experience levels. In case of rain or extreme heat, we’ll move indoors to the Paul J. Schupf Art Center.
The Summer Reading theme is Level Up at Your Library. View all Art in the Park events here.
