Assemblage Art
Get creative with scraps! This week, we’ll build our own assemblage sculptures using wood, paint, and hot glue—turning everyday materials into one-of-a-kind artworks.

Inspired by The World Belongs to Us, a joyful story of kids turning their city into a playground, this workshop is all about imagination and play.

Presented by Waterville Creates in collaboration with the Waterville Public Library and the Colby College Museum of Art.

Each Thursday afternoon, families and community members are invited to enjoy a story read aloud followed by a hands-on art activity inspired by the book or a creative community theme. This free program welcomes all ages and experience levels. In case of rain or extreme heat, we’ll move indoors to the Paul J. Schupf Art Center.

The Summer Reading theme is Level Up at Your Library. View all Art in the Park events here.
