Art Break: Sanctuary by Marguerite Zorach

Thursday, May 4

12–12:30pm

Colby College Museum of Art

Colby College Museum of Art

Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby Museum’s gallery spaces. This week, Maggie Libby, Curator of Digital Discovery and Engagement at Special Collections & Archives, will facilitate a conversation focusing on Sanctuary by Marguerite Zorach, located in the Upper Jette Gallery.

Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
