Art Break: Return from the Cross by Henry Ossawa Tanner

Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby Museum galleries. This week, we will focus on Return from the Cross by Henry Ossawa Tanner, located in the De Ferrari Gallery.

Talking as a group about works of art can offer us new ways to see the world, pose difficult questions, get us in touch with our emotions, challenge us with new ideas, and sometimes delight us with beauty.
