Join us for a fun and creative celebration of spring! Activities include a free family movie, guided outdoor story walks, a hands-on program about worms, and more. Enjoy the sixth edition of this fabulous and free family event!

 

At the Paul J. Schupf Art Center, 93 Main Street:

10am Pixar’s WALL-E at the Maine Film Center. Join lovable robots WALL-E and EVE on their mission to outwit a sinister AI and guide humanity back to a rejuvenated Earth in bloom. Reserve your free tickets here.

11am–4pm Painting Flower Bouquets at the Art Center
Try making a watercolor painting of flowers! Colby College Museum of Art and Waterville Creates will have flower bouquets for painting drop-ins. The bouquets from The Robin’s Nest will be based on different works of art in Museum’s the collections. All ages and abilities are welcome.

 

At Reed Field, 58 Drummond Avenue:

1pm Storywalk Opening #1
Come explore the world of earthworms! Read the book How to Say Hello to a Worm, written and illustrated by Kari Percival, then join Maine Master Naturalist Serena Sanborn to explore a hands-on program all about worms. Receive a copy of the book while supplies last.

At North Street Community Connector Trail, 195 North Street:

2pm Storywalk Opening #2
Come enjoy a reading of the book A Dream for Every Season, written by Haddy Njie and illustrated by Lisa Aisato, with Waterville Public Library’s Liz Davis. Receive a copy of the book while supplies last.

At the Children’s Discovery Museum, 7 Eustis Parkway:

12-3pm Sun prints + Seeds!
