Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Some legends can never be tamed.
When Spirit (Oscar-winner Matt Damon), a young stallion of the Cimarron herd, is captured by a U.S. Cavalry squad, he experiences both cruelty and kindness as he attempts to regain his freedom and save his herd with the help of a young Lakota brave (Daniel Studi) and his mare Rain, all while maintaining his wild independence.
An Oscar-nominee for Best Animated Feature, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron beautifully blends hand-drawn and computer-generated animation to create a visually rich adventure perfect for adults and children alike! "Uncluttered by comic supporting characters and cute sidekicks, Spirit is more pure and direct than most of the stories we see in animation—a fable I suspect younger viewers will strongly identify with."—Roger Ebert.
