Back to the Future Part III
Get your tickets to all three films in the Back to the Future marathon on the series page!
Join the Maine Film Center as we travel backwards, forwards, and all across time with Marty McFly in our all-day Back to the Future marathon! And don't forget to dress up as your favorite character or in an outfit from your favorite time period—whether it be the '80s, the '50s, the Wild West, or an alternate future—and get a free small popcorn from concessions. If that doesn't warrant a "Great Scott!" we don't know what does!
In the final chapter of the Back to the Future trilogy, Marty McFly (Emmy-winner Michael J. Fox) obtains a 70-year-old message from the time-traveling Dr. Emmett Brown (Emmy-winner Christopher Lloyd), in which he informs Marty that he has retired to a small town in the Wild West. Marty then finds out that the Doc was murdered shortly after sending the letter. In order to save his friend, Marty will have to travel back in time, disentangle a lovestruck Doc from a local schoolmarm (Oscar-winner Mary Steenburgen), and repair the DeLorean—all while avoiding an angry posse of gunslingers!
This film is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund. Call the Box Office at 207.873.7000 to obtain YAAF tickets. Pay it forward! Donate to YAAF here.
