The Year of the Horse: A Clay Workshop with Jenny Ibsen
Join Portland-based artist Jenny Ibsen for a hands-on clay workshop celebrating the Year of the Horse. Use hand building techniques to create your own clay horse, then add pattern and color with underglazes. We’ll explore ideas of identity and storytelling through craft in a supportive, engaging environment. All materials are provided. Finished pieces will be fired and ready to pick up within two weeks.
Jenny Ibsen is a Maine-based artist, restaurant worker, and organizer with a community-centered art practice. Her ceramic works are often colorful, hand-built terracotta vessels that intend to facilitate connection to food.

Cost: $46
Price includes a $1 handling fee. A portion of all ticket fees are designated to support the Youth Arts Access Fund.
