Exhibition + Vendor Opportunities

Throughout the year, Waterville Creates offers several opportunities for artists, makers, and educators to engage directly with our exhibition spaces and programs.

Pride Makers Market

Waterville Creates invites LGBTQIA+ makers to showcase and sell their work at our annual Pride First Friday event in June at the Paul J. Schupf Art Center (93 Main Street, Waterville, Maine) and Castonguay Square.

Wabanaki Artisan Celebration

Waterville Creates is pleased to invite Wabanaki artisans to participate in our second annual Wabanaki Artisan Celebration on October 10, 2026.

Made: Maine Makers Market

Formerly known as the Holiday Bazaar, Made celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of Maine’s talented makers. This seasonal marketplace features a curated selection of locally handmade wares, offering visitors the chance to discover unique treasures and one-of-a-kind gifts created by Maine artisans.

Submissions are now closed for the 2025 edition, running November 15, 2025–January 26, 2026.

Art in the Lobby

Art in the Lobby was established at Railroad Square Cinema to showcase Central Maine artists’ work. The exhibition program continues in the new Maine Film Center cinema lobby on the second floor of the Paul J. Schupf Art Center and is free and open to the public.

Youth Art Month

Ticonic Gallery (at 93 Main Street) is delighted to partner with Greene Block + Studios (at 18 Main Street) to celebrate Youth Art Month in March with a spectacular, multi-site exhibition of artwork by local students in grades K–12. Youth Art Month is an opportunity for students to showcase their work in a gallery setting and share their achievements with their families and their community. The 2026 theme is The World Needs Art.
