WATERVILLE, ME—The Waterville Opera House and Waterville Creates are excited to announce the return of Waterville Rocks, a free, outdoor summer concert series held annually at Head of Falls Park in Waterville, ME.
Waterville Rocks kicks off with Adam Ezra Group with Bella Ann July 11, coinciding with the opening night of the Maine International Film Festival (MIFF), which will see over 100 films screened across 10 days in the Maine Film Center and the Waterville Opera House. The double-header opening night serves as an opportunity to celebrate the start of the festival and summer by welcoming thousands of patrons to Waterville. The series continues for three consecutive Fridays, July 25, August 1, and August 1, with End of the Line, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Mallett Brothers Band, respectively.
“Waterville Rocks is back for another exciting year at beautiful Head of Falls on the banks of the Kennebec River in downtown Waterville. What’s better than a free outdoor summer concert in Maine!?” said Erik Thomas, assistant executive director of the Waterville Opera House.
Waterville Rocks is free and open to all. This year also sees the return of Art Rocks—free, fun art activities for all ages run by Waterville Creates at Waterville Rocks each week. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, take in the summer evenings, enjoy the beer garden, and, of course, rock out to some great live music.

Friday, July 11—Adam Ezra Group with Bella Ann
Celebrate the opening night of MIFF with Adam Ezra Group with Bella Ann. Adam Ezra Group may seem like they came out of nowhere—but their deep connection with fans has been years in the making. From live-streaming 500 nights during the pandemic to co-producing an album with 163 fans, frontman Adam Ezra and his bandmates (Corinna Smith, Poche Ponce, and Alex Martin) are redefining what it means to build community through music.
They tour nonstop, selling out theaters across the Northeast and performing everywhere from major festivals to grassroots events. Their free annual festival raised $151,000 for homeless veterans in 2024 alone—a reflection of a band whose mission goes far beyond the stage.
Friday, July 25—End of the Line
End Of The Line is the premiere Allman Brothers tribute band, earning sold-out shows across Georgia and Tennessee with a sound as powerful and soulful as the original. Featuring Justin Smith’s gritty vocals, the dual-drum drive of Chase Bader and Ryan McClanahan, and standout guitar work from Conor Kelly and Macon native Adam Gorman, the band honors the Allman legacy while bringing fresh energy to the stage.
Endorsed by The Big House—the official Allman Brothers Museum—End Of The Line delivers the spirit, sound, and soul of the Brothers in every performance.
Friday, August 1—Atlanta Rhythm Section
The Atlanta Rhythm Section (ARS) helped shape the Southern Rock era with 15 albums, major hits, and dynamic live shows—but their story runs deeper than labels suggest. Often grouped with contemporaries like Lynyrd Skynyrd as heirs to the Allman Brothers legacy, ARS brought a more musically diverse, pop-influenced sound that set them apart.
Based in Atlanta, they built a loyal fan base and left a lasting mark on rock history—proving that while genres come and go, great songwriting endures.
Friday, August 8—Mallett Brothers Band
The Mallett Brothers Band is an independent rock and roll/Americana/country band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that’s influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds.
The beer garden opens at 6pm each week, with music starting at 7pm. In the event of rain, the music will move inside to the Waterville Opera House.
Waterville Rocks 2025 is sponsored by the City of Waterville, the 28th Maine International Film Festival, North Atlantic Seed Co., Maine QuitLink, Central Maine Chevrolet, and The Proper Pig.
