Jeffrey Thomson and Justin Tussing will be reading their beautiful work tonight at the Redington Museum on Silver Street in Waterville. Come experience the mesmerizing work of these locals brought to you by Colby College’s Office of the President, Center for the Arts and the Humanities, English Department, and Department in Creative Writing.
Jeffrey Thomson is poet, memoirist, translator, editor, and author of multiple books. The most popular being: the memoir fragile, The Belfast Notebooks, The complete Poems of Catullus, and the edited collection From the Fishouse. Half/Life: New and Selected Poems comes out from Alice James Books in 2019. Thomson is currently Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Maine at Farmington.
Justin Tussing is the another successful author. He has two novels, Vexation Lullaby and The Best People in the World. Tussing has some of his fiction work in The New Yorker, TriQuarterly, and Public Space. He is Associate Professor of English at the University of Southern Maine and directs the Stonecoast Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing and the Stonecoast Writers’ Conference.
