Maine Film Center, 93 Main St., Waterville, ME

Co-presented with Finding Our Voices, the short films directed by Matthew J. Siegel are first-person accounts by Maine survivors Courtney Billings, a hairdresser, and Christine Buckley, owner of a framing store, on how abuse at home growing up impacted their own intimate partner relationships, as well as the relationships with their children. After these short films, we are honored to host the North American premiere of Chris Godwin's award-winning UK film Timekeeper, a powerful look at the effect of terrorizing at home on a young boy, and how this plays out in school. Post-film panel with domestic violence survivors and experts.

Free admission, sponsored by the Oak Institute for Human Rights.
