A cheery Christmas story gone Tim Burton-askew, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is “part avant-garde art film, part amusing but morbid fairy tale, a delightfully ghoulish holiday musical that displays more inventiveness in its brief 75 minutes than some studios can manage in an entire year”—Kenneth Turan, L.A. Times. In Burton’s demented vision, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, longs to spread the joy of Christmas…a change of pace and image! But, of course, things don’t work out quite the way he had had in mind. Perfect entertainment with its holiday melding of the cheery and the slightly scary, and perfect cinema with its unique blending of stop-motion animation with musical numbers and wacky wit, Burton’s tale is more fun than HALLOWEEN and now more a seasonal classic than WHITE CHRISTMAS.

Two shows only: Friday, October 29 at 9:00PM and Saturday, October 30 at 7:00PM
