The Fellowship of the Ring
The Shire is a place for many things, but adventure is not one of them. Frodo Baggins is perfectly content with the peaceful life he lives–but when the wizard Gandalf charges Frodo with the mysterious One Ring, the young Hobbit finds adventure is a calling you can’t easily ignore. Together with eight companions who form the Fellowship of the Ring, he sets out across Middle-earth to destroy the Ring and bring peace to the land. But the forces of the Dark Lord Sauron, who created the Ring, are close behind and will do anything to retrieve the Ring for their master.
