(some of) THE BEST OF WES (so far)

"He really does create an all-encompassing world of wackiness," The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw writes of Wes Anderson's fourth feature, starring Bill Murray as an eccentric oceanographer who sets out to exact revenge on the elusive "jaguar shark" that ate a member of his crew. Team Zissou, as the crew is called, is made up of Zissou's hated enemy and rival explorer Alistair Hennessey (Jeff Goldblum), trusty crewmember Klaus (Willem Dafoe), Zissou's semi-estranged wife Eleanor (Angelica Huston), Ned Plimpton, a huge fan of Zissou and also his illegitimate son (Owen Wilson), and journalist Jane Winslett-Richardson (Cate Blanchett). This whimsical, nautical adventure, co-written with Noah Baumbach, showcases the best of Anderson's filmmaking idiosyncrasies.
