Jordan Peele has already given us films that have been simultaneous masterpieces as both socially sharp and well-aimed satire and astonishingly effective thriller: GET OUT and US. Now comes a film whose title as well as content is right on the money for this moment: NOPE, one of the most eagerly anticipated and wildly speculated on films of 2022. In the California desert, a movie is being shot. But other, even stranger things than that are happening: After random objects falling from the sky result in the death of their father, ranch-owning siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood (Daniel Kaluya and Keke Palmer) attempt to capture video evidence of an unidentified flying object with the help of tech salesman Angel Torres (Brandon Parrea) and documentarian Antlers Holst (Michael Wincott.) Much is to be discovered…

4:20 showtime on Saturday, August 6 to be pushed back 10 minutes to 4:30.
