Intermediate Clay: Wheel Throwing

Join instructor Misha Oraa Ali for this six-week course focusing on intermediate wheel throwing techniques. Misha will guide students as they explore techniques of wheel throwing, including large forms, altered forms, and other objects based on student interest. Students should be competent in basics steps, including centering clay on the wheel, shaping forms, trimming, and understand the basics of glazing. This is a perfect class for someone who has taken a beginning wheel throwing class and wants to build on their knowledge.

All necessary materials are included: clay, glazes, and all kiln firings during the class period. Each student can access the studio during open studio times, in addition to class time.

Age: Adults and Teens 16+
Limit: 7 participants
Cost: $176
Price includes a $1 handling fee. A portion of all ticket fees are designated to support the Youth Arts Access Fund.
