We’ve never had two classic films in one series. However, Cate Blanchett is a presumptive nominee for the Oscar for Best Actress for TÁR. Twenty-five years ago, Cate’s title role in Shekhar Kapur’s ELIZABETH about young Queen Elizabeth I earned Cate her first Oscar nomination as Best Actress. It also received Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction/Set Decoration, Best Costume Design, and Best Original Score as well as winning for Best Make-up.
