April Crafternoons at the Waterville Public Library!

Looking for a way to brighten up your child’s day? Bring them on down to the Waterville Public Library for Crafternoons! Drop in anytime between 2:30 and 4PM every Tuesday to participate in a fun craft. We do something different every week!

4/30: Caterpillar Craft

Children under 7 must be accompanied by a grown-up helper.

Teen Game Night!

Stop by the Waterville Public Library on Mondays at 4pm for Teen Game Night!

Featuring video games, board games, and sometimes D&D, it’s always a new adventure!

The library has a collection of board games to choose from, which includes Settlers of Catan, Exploding Kittens, Munchkin, and many more! There are also games available to play on the library’s Wii U, Wii and PS3.  Attendees are welcome to bring along any age-appropriate games they’d like to share. Bring yourself, bring your friends, and discover new games!

Choral Masterwork

In their final performance of the season, the orchestra, Colby Chorale, and the Colby Kennebec Chorale Society present Schubert’s monumental Mass in E-flat Major no. 6 and Grieg’s famous Peer Gynt Suite no. 1. These performances will also feature the winner of the 2019 annual concerto competition. These concerts take place on Saturday, April 27th & Sunday, April 28th at 7:30pm — free of charge, and open to the public!

Camp Code

Want to learn how Minecraft, iPads, and Google are made? Come join us for Camp Code at the Waterville Public Library! Each week we will show you how to turn your ideas into reality, with languages like Python and Scratch. Are you new to tech, and want to learn some basics? We have you covered. Are you a tech veteran and want some guidance on how to make your code more elegant? Come on by! Attend one, any, many, or all sessions!

Camp Code is free, and open to kids ages 9-14!

Rhymetime: for Babies, Toddlers and Their Grownups!

Babies are born ready to learn! By singing, clapping, and sharing stories with their grownups, children from birth to age 3 gain valuable skills and knowledge for later learning success. Join us for a half-hour of active fun in the Children’s department on Friday,10:30-11am at the Waterville Public Library!

after school art club: clay sculptures

Clay is always a favorite for all ages! We will discover how the tools of sculpting are used and invent some creative clay figures to bring home.

Ages 7-12. Healthy snacks provided. $14. Scholarships available.

Homeschool Hub for April!

Homeschoolers are invited to meet at the Waterville Public Library every Thursday from 1:30-2:30pm for games, crafts, speakers, and more! There will be an activity in the Children’s department for attendees in 1st-6th grade, and an activity in the Bartlett Room for Teens for attendees in 6th-12th grade. The activity will change every week.

Please note that there is no Homeschool Hub on April 25th.
