Winter Insects

Insects buzz with activity during the warm months, and when winter comes most folks hardly think of them at all! Some insects migrate to warmer climates. Other insects are surprisingly hard and active aboveground, while still others use amazing tricks and tools to keep their bodies from freezing during diapause (the insect version of hibernation). Join L.C. Bates Museum to learn more about these often overlooked winter wonders.
