Ticketing System Account

Waterville Creates has a combined ticketing system. In order to access your account for the first time or to make any new purchases you will need to reset your password. Your new account will allow you to update your demographic information at will, see your purchasing history, and access electronic tickets. To access your account CLICK HERE.

You should use the email address that you were previously using for Opera House purchases. If you had accounts with our partner organizations (Waterville Creates, Maine Film Center, Ticonic Gallery + Studios) using different email addresses, you may have multiple accounts due to the data merge. Please update and reset the account with the email address that you want to use going forward.

Youth Arts Access Fund

Waterville Creates believes that all youth, regardless of income, ability, or background, should have access to outstanding arts programming and arts education opportunities. In an effort to remove cost as a barrier to participation, we have created a dedicated fund to support free admission for youth ages 18 and under to the full range of programming offered by Waterville Creates and its divisions, including art classes and camps, community theatre productions, live music, and film programming.

CLICK HERE for more information about the Youth Arts Access Fund. YAAF tickets are not available online, please contact the Box Office.

Children

Children ages 3 and up require tickets. Children under the age of 3 years old may sit on an adult’s lap and do not require a ticket. Our productions are intended to appeal to a broad age range. Not every event is suitable for all ages. Please consider your child’s maturity, attention span, interest, and ability to sit still before purchasing tickets.

Accessibility

Accessible seating is available only on the orchestra level. The elevator does not access balcony seating. Patrons who have difficulty climbing stairs should purchase tickets in the orchestra level. Depending on the popularity of an event, ADA seating may only be available for purchase through the Box Office (207.873.7000). This is done to ensure those seats remain available for those who need them.

Listening devices are available for theatre productions. Please visit the technician at the sound board at the back of the orchestra section to request a listening device.

Tickets

Ticket scammers are on the rise! The Waterville Opera House cannot guarantee any tickets purchased from a third-party vendor. Always purchase tickets directly through our website or from our Box Office staff.

We do not mail tickets.

When ordered online, tickets can be retained at the Box Office or emailed to the patron. Electronic tickets will come in the form of a PDF attachment with a barcode that must be displayed and scanned upon entry. Printing these tickets is preferred and will help reduce wait times, but a smartphone display can also be used. Please have the barcode ready and available to scan upon arrival to the theatre. Order confirmations and ticket emails will come from “Waterville Creates.”

Tickets may be picked up in advance of the performance at the Daytime Box Office during regular hours (see above). Will Call opens one hour prior to show time, located 1st Floor of City Hall.

Membership Benefits

Members enjoy a 15% discount on all Opera House events, a one-week presale window, and advance notice of upcoming events. CLICK HERE to become a member!

Seating

For most performances, the house will open for seating 30-60 minutes before show time. A pre-show email will be sent to all ticket holders 24-48 hours prior to an event, this email will give the specific time the doors will open for that event.

Sensitivity Warning

Many of our shows contain strobes and other lighting effects, smoke, and loud sound effects. If you are concerned about sensitivity to any of these, please contact the Box Office in advance for more information.
