Katie Luce, Community Events Manager at Alzheimer’s Association Maine Chapter
Katie was born and raised in Greenville, Maine like her great grandmother, grandmother, and mother before her. In 2004, she graduated high school and left for the big city of Bangor where she earned her bachelor’s degree of Communications from the New England School of Communications (now part of Husson University).
Katie worked in various marketing positions in Eastern and Central Maine and was inspired to help organize and eventually lead the Kennebec Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s after seeing her great grandmother battle the disease and seeing her grandmother receive a diagnosis.
In 2018, Katie joined the Alzheimer’s Association as a staff member and goes to work every day with a goal of putting herself out of work. Katie currently lives in Skowhegan with her husband Ben and their beloved dog Brutus.
