slice: recycled costuming workshop- CANCELLED

Anything can be reused! Learn about upcycling everyday materials into cosplays and accessories! This workshop is led by the theater costumer, Emily Rowden Fournier from Recycled Shakespeare Company. Come try your hand at creating sustainable, one-of-a-kind wearable art!

SLICE (students learning innovative creative endeavors) is a pilot program to encourage students ages 13-19 to explore the behind-the-scenes operations at an historic opera house, an award-winning public library, a nationally recognized art museum, and an independent arthouse at railroad square cinema. partnering with arts professionals throughout the city. This program is designed to provide young adults with unique experiences to learn more about career paths in the arts. Each afternoon will be filled with interesting programming, inspiration, and pizza!
